DIY or guided?

What you can do yourself and where it gets expensive.

You can apply for Paraguay residency on your own. The government fees alone are cheaper than any package. But the math often fails when appointments go wrong or documents are missing.

For comparison: providers on the market charge between about €1,200 and US$3,300 per person for temporary residency with Cédula, with very different scope. Check whether fees, translations and the RUC are included, and which step towards permanent residency is meant.

On request, we can also arrange a local SIM card in Asunción, a bank account, a rental agreement, accommodation, airport transfers or insurance. We tell you the cost upfront.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about costs

Are the government fees really included?

Yes. All fees for the migration authority, the police and the Cédula are included in the fixed price.

When do I pay?

We discuss payment terms in your consultation and put them in writing before you book anything.

How much is it for a family?

The first person pays the full package price and every additional person gets 15 % off. For two adults on the Residency package that is, for example, €2,490 + €2,117 = €4,607.

Why choose Residency to Permanent?

Booked separately, Residency and Permanent Residency cost €4,480 together. In the bundle you pay €3,990, and we support you through the full two years: income check, deadline reminders and a prepared application.

Do I need a tax ID (RUC)?

The migration authority does not require a RUC for temporary residency. You need one if you work self-employed in Paraguay or if your income category for permanent residency requires it. It must then be active for at least four months when you apply. We clarify whether you need it in the income check. You can add it to any package for €590. Whether and where you owe tax is a question for a tax adviser.

Can it go faster?

Yes. For €350 you can add fast-track processing, and the migration authority handles your application on an expedited basis: in 90 days at the earliest instead of usually about six months. The exact times are set by the authority.

Are there hidden costs?

No. Only flights, accommodation, your documents from home, add-ons such as the RUC (€590) or fast-track processing (€350) and optional services you choose yourself are not included. Your offer states exactly that.
